- 1/2 tsp. hot sauce
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 (3 to 3 1/2 lb.) broiler, cut up
- vegetable oil
Directions

1Combine first 3 ingredients; mix well.

2Place chicken in a shallow pan and pour buttermilk mixture over top; refrigerate at least 15 minutes.

3Remove chicken from liquid.

4Dredge chicken in flour.

5Heat 1/2-inch of oil in a skillet to 350°; add chicken and cook, turning frequently, until chicken is brown on all sides. Reduce heat to medium; cover and cook 25 minutes or until chicken is tender, turning occasionally.

6Drain well on paper towels. Yield:
