  • 14 cup butter
  • 1 14 cups onions, diced
  • 1 14 cups celery, diced
  • 2 tablespoons summer savory
  • 1 12 cups chicken broth
  • 34 cup dried cranberries
  • salt and pepper
  • 8 cups day-old bread, cubed

Directions

    Heat butter; saute onion, celery and savory for 3 minutes.

    Add chicken broth and cranberries; simmer for 3 minutes.

    Add salt and pepper.

    Pour over cubed bread, and mix until liquid is absorbed.

    Place mixture in a 9x9-inch pan and bake at 300F for 35-40 minutes.
