- 1/3 c. olive oil
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 large red onion
- 1 green pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 2 lb. lean lamb, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1In a large bowl, add all of the ingredients.

2Cover all pieces of meat well.

3Refrigerate at least 4 hours or until next day, stirring several times.

4On metal skewers, thread meat and vegetables.

5Cook on medium coals 4 to 6 inches above fire.

6Cook about 15 minutes, rotating often.

7Makes 6 to 8 kebobs.
