  • 4 to 5 lb. pork ribs
  • 18 oz. barbecue sauce
  • 8 oz. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. sage
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 tsp. seasoning salt (optional)
  • 1 large green pepper (optional)

Directions

    Parboil ribs in water with salt, garlic powder, sage and onion.

    Combine barbecue sauce and honey in a bowl.

    After ribs partially cook, drain.

    In a large bowl or pan, arrange ribs with meaty side down.

    Pour in barbecue sauce and marinate overnight, covered.

    Cook in slow oven (300°

    to 325°) until tender. Additional salt or spices may be added.

    Can be cooked in crock-pot.
