Ingredients
- 6 pork shoulder steaks
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
Directions

1Trim fat and remove bones from steaks.

2Pound to 1/2-inch thickness.

3Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Stir egg and milk into bread crumbs. Add onion, mustard, poultry seasoning and salt.

4Mix well. Divide stuffing between steaks.

5Roll up and fasten with toothpicks.

6Coat with flour and brown in shortening. Remove to a 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. Discard excess fat from skillet. Add water to drippings.

7Pour over rolls and bake, covered, in a 350° oven for 1 hour or until tender.

8Serve with Mushroom Sauce.
