  • 100 g bacon (rindless)
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup shredded tasty cheese
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic (or more, jar ok)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 4 tablespoons plain flour
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard or 1 pinch dry mustard
  • salt and fresh pepper
