- 1 lb scallops, if large cut in half
- 1/2 cup 2% low-fat milk
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- salt
- pepper
- 1/3 cup green onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon thyme
Directions

1Soak the scallops in milk for 10 minutes, drain& dry well.

2Heat oven to 450 degrees F.

3Put scallops in a baking dish just large enough to hold them in a single layer.

4Sprinkle with lemon juice and dot with butter.

5Season with salt& pepper.

6Bake for apprx 5 minutes or until the scallops are opaque.

7Meanwhile mix the crumbs, green onions, thyme and cheese together.

8Sprinkle over the scallops broil for apprx 2 minutes or until the crumbs& cheese are golden.

9Cool before serving.
