  • 1 c. whole corn
  • 1 c. cream-style corn
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/3 c. cream or milk
  • 1 3/4 c. cheese, cut fine
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 3 slices raw bacon, cut fine or diced
  • cracker crumbs

Directions

    Mix all together, except crumbs.

    Using a buttered casserole, alternate layers of mixture and crumbs, leaving a few crumbs for the top.

    Bake 20 minutes at 250°, covered,

    then at 20 minutes at 350°, covered.

    Remove cover and brown slightly.
