- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/3 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/4 dash pepper
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 (No. 303) can whole kernel corn (about 2 c.), drained
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- buttered bread crumbs
Directions

1Saute onion in butter until tender.

2Blend in flour, salt, paprika, mustard and pepper and cook until bubbly.

3Remove from heat.

4Add milk gradually.

5Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add corn and egg.

6Pour into 1-quart baking dish. Top with buttered bread crumbs.

7Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.

8Makes 4 servings.
