- 1 pt. medium oysters
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 2 c. cream
- 1 c. cracker crumbs
Directions

1Pour melted butter over the cracker crumbs (stir well).

2Spread 1/3 of the cracker crumbs on the bottom of the buttered casserole. Cover with 1/2 of the oysters (can either be cut up or whole, if you prefer the whole oyster).

3Then add another 1/3 of the cracker mix and the remaining 1/2 of the oysters.

4Season to taste with salt and pepper.

5Cover all this with last 1/3 of the cracker mix. Pour the 2 cups of cream over this entire casserole.

6Bake in a moderate 350° oven for about 40 minutes or until browned on top and around the edges.
