- 6 medium potatoes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. flour
- 12 slices Cheddar cheese
- 6 Tbsp. butter/margarine
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. milk
- 1 medium onion
Directions

1Peel potatoes, slice thin and place 1/3 of slices in bottom of 2-quart casserole dish.

2Dot with 1/3 of butter.

3Season with salt and pepper.

4Place thin onion slices on top.

5Sprinkle flour over onions and cover with 4 slices of cheese.

6Add the second layer the same as the first.

7Do the third layer the same.
-
8Top with cheese.
-
9Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Serve hot.
