- 3 large yellow or zucchini squash
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. flour
- salt and pepper
- 1 c. shredded cheese
- 1 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Cut squash up and put in a colander for 1 hour.

2Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

3Layer squash and sprinkle with flour and cut a few slices of butter between each layer.

4Also add salt and pepper to taste between each layer.

5After completing each layer, pour milk in, then sprinkle cheese on top and cook at 325° for 1 hour. Serves 4 to 6.
