- 1 c. pitted dried prunes
- 1 c. dried apricots
- 1/4 c. light raisins
- 1/4 c. dark raisins
- 1/2 lemon, sliced
- 3 (4-inch) cinnamon sticks
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. quick-cooking tapioca
- 1 apple, pared and cubed
- 6 c. water
Directions

1Combine all ingredients, except apple.

2Bring to boil, stirring.

3Cover and cook 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4Add apple cubes, simmer, covered, for 5 minutes.

5Remove cinnamon. Serve warm or cold as a dessert. Makes about 8 to 10 servings.
