- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. warm butter
- 4 c. lukewarm water
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Combine ingredients.

3Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes.

4Grease pans.

5Add plain flour, enough to make medium stiff.

6Pour on floured surface.

7Knead until firm.

8Make small rolls and place butter on top.

9Let roll rise until double. Bake until brown.
