- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion
- 3 large carrots
- 1 can tomato paste
- 2 c. peas
- 6 large potatoes, peeled and diced
Directions

1Put beef in 2 quarts warm water and stir well to separate beef.

2Salt to taste.

3Boil on medium heat until beef is well done.

4Add potatoes, onion, carrots and peas.

5Stir occasionally to keep beef separated.

6Add tomato paste and simmer 15 minutes. Serve with toasted cheese sandwiches, cheese toast, cornbread or crackers.
