  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 large carrots
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 2 c. peas
  • 6 large potatoes, peeled and diced

Directions

    Put beef in 2 quarts warm water and stir well to separate beef.

    Salt to taste.

    Boil on medium heat until beef is well done.

    Add potatoes, onion, carrots and peas.

    Stir occasionally to keep beef separated.

    Add tomato paste and simmer 15 minutes. Serve with toasted cheese sandwiches, cheese toast, cornbread or crackers.
