Ingredients

  • 70 grams Butter
  • 100 grams Milk
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 300 grams Cake flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 35 grams Sugar
  • 3 grams Salt

Directions

    Cut the butter into small pieces.

    Mix the milk and egg yolk together and set aside.

    Sift the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into a bowl.

    Add the butter.

    Mix by hand or with a blender until it's crumbly.

    Mix in the combined milk and egg in small batches.

    When it's no longer floury, lightly knead it together by hand.

    Dust on some flour and roll out the dough to a thickness of 1.5 - 2 cm.

    Cut out the shapes with a cutter or cup.

    Bake for 10 minutes in an oven preheated to 200C, then for 15 minutes at 180C.
