- 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 c. milk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425°.

2Grease a large cookie sheet.

3In a medium bowl with a fork mix flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. With a pastry blender cut in the margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

4In a cup, beat eggs with a fork.

5Reserve 1 tablespoon.

6Put milk into remaining eggs and add this mixture to the flour mixture.

7Blend until well mixed.

8Turn dough onto a lightly floured board and roll with a floured rolling pin until dough is 1/2 inch thick.

9With a knife, cut dough into 3-inch squares then cut each square into 2 triangles.

10Place triangles 1 inch apart onto cookie sheet.

11Brush with reserved egg and sprinkle with granulated sugar.

12Bake 10 to 15 minutes until golden.

13Makes 10 to 12 scones.
