Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 cup coconut/canola oil
  • 3/4 cup soy/almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup blueberries/chocolate chips/pumpkin puree/one peeled and diced apple

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F, and grease a cookie sheet.

    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, flax, salt, cinnamon, and allspice.

    Stir in oil, vanilla, and milk. Fold in the optional add-ins of choice. You will have to knead this by hand--it will be very dry until properly kneaded.

    Pat the dough into a round disk on the cookie sheet. Cut into 8 slices, like a pizza. Separate slices.

    Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes or until golden. Let cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
