- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. cornstarch
- pinch of salt
- 1 c. butter (room temperature)
- 1 c. superfine sugar
- 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Sift flour, cornstarch and salt into medium-size bowl; set aside.

3In large bowl, cream butter and superfine sugar until light and fluffy.

4With wooden spoon, gradually work in dry ingredients until thoroughly mixed.

5Press dough into an ungreased 11 x 7-inch or 9-inch square baking pan. Prick deeply all over with a fork.

6Score surface for serving size. Bake about 40 minutes or until light brown.

7Sprinkle with granulated sugar.

8Cool and cut.

9Yields 20 (1 1/2 x 2-inches).
