- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 2 1/3 c. flour
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar together; add flour and knead with right hand until it forms a dough.

2Knead a little longer and press into a buttered tin.

3Prick top with a fork and bake at 275° to 300° for 1 hour or until a pale brown.

4Cut in squares or fingers while warm and leave in pan to cool.
