Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter (no substitute)
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon zest
  • 1 Tbsp. poppy seed
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped mint

Directions

    Mix and then form into small log the size of your index finger. Pinch off a tablespoon or less and put on cookie sheet.

    Flatten a little, then bake at 300° for 40 to 50 minutes until the sides are light brown.

    Sprinkle with powdered sugar when out of the oven and cooling.
