- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter (no substitute)
- 1 Tbsp. lemon zest
- 1 Tbsp. poppy seed
- 1 Tbsp. chopped mint
Directions

1Mix and then form into small log the size of your index finger. Pinch off a tablespoon or less and put on cookie sheet.

2Flatten a little, then bake at 300° for 40 to 50 minutes until the sides are light brown.

3Sprinkle with powdered sugar when out of the oven and cooling.
