Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh mushrooms sliced
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound tofu drained
  • 4 teaspoons seasoning country style chicken, vegetarian
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons yeast flakes not baking yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chives fresh chopped, put on top after cooking

Directions

    Wash, drain and mash tofu with fork or potato masher.

    In a skillet saute onions and mushrooms in oil until soft.

    Add remaining ingredients and stir together until slightly browned.
