- 3 12 cups boiling water
- 1 12 cups cornmeal
- 13 cup flour
- 1 12 teaspoons salt
- 1 dash sage
- pepper
- 1 12 cups cold water
- 1 lb ground beef or 1 lb pork sausage (or a mix)
Directions

1Brown and drain the meat.

2Combine the cornmeal, flour, seasonings, and cold water.

3Pour slowly into the boiling water, stirring with a wire whisk.

4Stir in the meat, once the mix has reached boiling.

5Put the mix into a double boiler and simmer for 2 hours.

6Pour into a greased loaf pan.

7Chill 12 hours.

8Slice 1/4- 1/2 inch thick.

9Dip in flour and fry.

10Serve with catsup.
