  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 egg white

Directions

    Boil sugar and water to 238°.

    Pour over stiffly beaten egg whites.

    Continue beating until candy stiffens.

    When nearly set, drop by teaspoon on wax paper.
