- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. sliced celery
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. flour
- 4 1/2 c. water
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 1 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 (6 oz.) cans crabmeat, shrimp or combination or cut up fresh fish
- 1 c. undiluted Carnation evaporated milk
Directions

1Saute onion and celery in butter in saucepan.

2Stir in flour. Gradually stir in water.

3Add bouillon cube, ketchup, bay leaf and seasoned salt.

4Heat to boiling.

5Reduce heat and boil gently for 5 minutes.

6Discard leaf.
