- 3 Tbsp. olive oil (to cover bottom of pan)
- 2 or 3 small cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, finely diced
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 large can tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. sugar
- 1 can tomato juice
- 1 lb. spaghetti, cooked
- 1 can tuna, drained
- grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Heat olive oil in pan.

2Add garlic, onion and tuna and brown over moderate heat for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

3Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, pepper and sugar and bring to boil.

4Allow sauce to simmer, in a covered saucepan, for 3 hours.
