Ingredients
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. baking soda
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup and vinegar in heavy kettle. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

2Using candy thermometer, cook to 300°. When candy reaches 300°, turn off heat immediately and quickly stir in baking soda.

3Pour into lightly greased 8 x 12-inch baking pan.

4Cool 4 hours. Break or cut into desired pieces.

5Dip pieces into melted chocolate and refrigerate until chocolate is set.
