  • 1 package Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1/3 cups Sugar
  • 6 ounces, weight Chocolate Chips

Directions

    Prepare the muffin tins with muffin papers. Set aside.

    Mix cake according to directions on the box. Fill cupcake tins half full. Set aside.

    Cream the cream cheese, sugar and egg. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls at a time into each cupcake tin. Make sure not to get any cream cheese mixture on the edge of the cupcake tin.

    Bake according to the directions and time for cupcakes on the cake mix box. Frosting is optional.
