- 3 level Tbsp. shortening
- 1 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Blend flour and shortening, then add buttermilk.

2Roll out 1/4-inch thickness.

3Fold over and roll out again, then cut out biscuits.

4Put immediately into 475° oven.

5When biscuits begin to brown, remove from oven and put under broiler and brown to desired color.
