  • 16 oz. can green beans or frozen or fresh cooked
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. sour cream (optional)
  • 1/3 to 1/2 c. crushed saltines or bread crumbs
  • 1 onion, slivered

    Heat beans thoroughly and drain well.

    Melt butter and saute onion.

    Stir in bread crumbs.

    Mix with beans and heat thoroughly. Add sour cream if desired.
