- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 6 oz. (1 1/2 c.) shredded sharp cheese
- 1 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 c. milk
- sesame seed
Directions

1In mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Blend well; cut in butter until it resembles coarse meal.

2Stir in cheese and oregano.

3In small bowl, blend milk and egg; add to flour mixture and stir until moistened.

4Spread in greased 9-inch square pan.

5Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

6Bake at 400° for 25 to 30 minutes and cut into slices (make muffins, bake at 15 to 20 minutes).
