Sesame Rice Salad

  • 1 can (15 oz.) mandarin oranges, undrained
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 2 cups instant brown rice, uncooked
  • 1/2 cup prepared GOOD SEASONS Asian Sesame Dressing Mix
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 can (8 oz.) sliced water chestnuts, drained

Directions

    Drain oranges, reserving liquid.

    Add enough water to reserved liquid to measure 1-3/4 cups.

    Stir in ginger.

    Prepare rice as directed on package, substituting the 1-3/4 cups orange liquid for the water.

    Refrigerate 30 min.

    Add dressing, onions and water chestnuts; mix lightly.

    Gently stir in oranges.
