  • 1 1/4 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. shortening
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp. ice water

Directions

    Sift flour and salt together. Cut shortening into the flour mixture and add the sesame seeds. Add ice water and blend gently with a fork until thoroughly moistened. Roll out pastry and place in a 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Great for entree or dessert pies.
