- 2 c. flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. butter
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. sesame seed
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients together into bowl.

2With blender, cut in shortening until mixture has look of large crumbs.

3Add egg, milk and vanilla; mix with fork just until dough holds together.

4Knead several times until smooth.

5Shape tablespoon of dough into ovals. Roll in seed.

6Bake at 375° (190°C) for 12 to 15 minutes.
