Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 3/4 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 c. carrots, sliced thin
  • 2 or 3 potatoes, sliced thin
  • noodles
  • 1 qt. tomatoes
  • 1 c. peas (optional)

Directions

    Brown hamburger and onion.

    Place in bottom of large baking dish.
  3. 3
    Layer carrots, celery and peas next and top with potatoes. Cover with a layer of uncooked noodles and pour tomatoes over all. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Bake at 350° until done. (If more liquid is needed, use tomatoes, tomato juice or water, as desired.) Serves 6.
