- 1 large or 2 small onions, sliced
- 4 or 5 sliced carrots
- 1/4 c. raw rice
- 1 can peas
- 1 lb. ground beef, browned or 1 1/2 lb. sausage patties
- 1 can tomatoes or 1 can condensed tomato soup
Directions

1Put one layer of each ingredient, in order, in a large casserole dish.

2Bake, covered, in casserole at 375° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
