  • 1-inch layer raw potatoes, sliced thin
  • 1 layer sliced onions
  • 1 layer sliced carrots
  • 1/4 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 c. peas and juice
  • layer of small sausage or minced beef
  • 1 can tomato soup, diluted with 1 can water

Directions

    Layer raw potatoes, sliced onions and carrots.

    Sprinkle rice. Add peas and juice and sausage or beef and cover with tomato soup and water.

    Bake at 350° for 2 hours.

    Cover casserole after first hour.

    Serves 6.
