  • 3 sticks butter
  • 2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon extract
  • 5 eggs
  • 3/4 c. 7-Up soft drink

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar for 20 minutes or until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each one. Add flour; mix well. Add lemon extract; blend well. Fold in 7-Up. Pour in greased and floured pound cake pan. Bake at 325° for 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until done.
