- 3 cups grated uncooked corn
- 5 eggs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 dashes nutmeg
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 cups milk
- 4 to 5 slices buttered bread, broken into crumbs
- 2 tbsp. butter
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300.

2Place corn in buttered baking dish.

3Beat eggs.

4Add sugar, salt, pepper, nutmeg and milk; blend.

5Pour the mixture over corn and mix in bread crumbs until thick.

6Dot with butter.

7Set baking dish in pan of boiling water and bake for 2 to 2-1/2 hours until top is browned.
