Ingredients

  • 9 bottles 3-liter Taylor Port Wine
  • 4 bottles 1.75 liter everclear (grain)
  • 1 bottle 1.75 liter apricot brandy
  • 32 cinnamon sticks
  • 40 cardamon seeds (remove individual seeds from pods)
  • 200 whole cloves
  • 1/2 box raisins
  • 6 oranges (the rinds from)
  • 1 package slivered almonds
  • 3 cups sugar

Directions

    Make spice packet in 3 or 4 layers of cheese cloth. Place in large pot (make sure you have lid)

    Heat wine to slow boil. Add sugar. Remove from heat. Cool until just hot.

    Add other alcohols. Throw in a match -- poof -- blue flame. Cover pot immediately with lid.

    Let sit for 3 days. Bottle. Drink.
