  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. Crisco oil
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/4 c. buttermilk

Directions

    Put the oleo, water, oil and cocoa into a pan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

    Pour mixture over flour and sugar. Add milk, eggs, soda and vanilla and mix well.

    Bake on a large greased cookie sheet at 400° for 20 minutes or until done.

    Frost if desired.
