- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. diced green pepper
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 c. cooked or canned peas and carrots
- 2 c. seasoned hot, mashed potatoes
Directions

1Brown beef in hot fat.

2Add onions and green pepper, cook until tender, but not brown.

3Stir in soup and place in a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.

4Sprinkle peas and carrots over.

5Arrange mashed potatoes in a ring on top, allowing filling to show through and drizzle melted butter over top.

6Bake, uncovered, in moderate oven (350°) until heated through, about 25 minutes.
