Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • salt
  • pepper to taste
  • dash of garlic powder
  • 2 1/3 c. water
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 4 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 2/3 c. instant Potato Buds
  • 1 can corn Niblets
  • 1/2 c. shredded cheese

Directions

    Heat oil in large skillet; saute beef and onion until browned, adding salt to taste, pepper and garlic powder.

    Drain off excess fat and place in square casserole.

    Bring water, milk, margarine and 1 teaspoon of salt to a boil.

    Stir in Potato Buds until thoroughly moistened and potatoes are fluffy.

    Spread corn Niblets over beef mixture, then spread potatoes over corn.

    Sprinkle cheese on top.

    Bake in preheated 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until heated through.
