  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 34 lb ground beef
  • 12 cup onion, chopped (1 medium)
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables, loose pack
  • 14 cup water
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can cream of tomato soup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • paprika (optional)

Directions

    Prepare mashed potatoes and set aside.

    In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion until meat is brown and onion is tender.

    Drain off fat.

    Stir mixed vegetables and water into beef mixture.

    Cook, covered, for 5 to 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

    Stir in the tomato soup, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper.

    Bring to a boil.

    Transfer mixture to a 1-1/2-quart casserole.

    Drop mashed potatoes in mounds on top of hot mixture.
