Shepherds Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Hamburger
  • 2 cans Cream Of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 can Cream Of Corn
  • 1 can Corn
  • 4 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
  • Small Handful Of Bacon Bits
  • 4 cups Cheddar Cheese, divided
  • 4 cups Mashed Potatoes (I Use Instant Because I'm Lazy)

Directions

    Brown hamburger and then mix together with the cream of mushroom soup, and corn.

    Place in a casserole dish.

    Gently stir together the cream cheese, bacon bits, and 2 cups of cheese (if you stir it too hard, you wont have really yummy cream cheese pockets).

    Stir into the meat mixture.

    Spoon the potato mixture all over, and then smooth it out (if you dump it on and spread it out, you will push out all of the meat mixture).

    Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake at 350 F until bubbly and cheese is starting to brown.

    Note on pan size: You want to use a large pan.

    If the potatoes are higher than the sides of the pan, you will have a mess in your oven.
