Sheree's Spring Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ground pork (can use any ground meat)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 * can add shredded carrots, and take out meat, if you want a totally veggie egg roll
  • 4 cup shreddeed cabbage (I use coleslaw mix)
  • 1/2 medium onions
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 packages egg roll wrappers or spring roll wrappers.. wont need all of them

    fry meat and drain off grease.

    add all other ingredients except egg roll wrappers.

    cook until veggies are limp.. drain and put in colander to drain for at several hours.

    take egg roll wrapper and put 1T or so of mix close to the edge.

    follow wrapping instructions on package.

    moisten edge with water.. finish rolling it.

    fry in oil, turning to brown all sides.

    I use my deep fryer.
