Ingredients

  • 2 lb. extra lean stew meat (trim fat)
  • 1 large onion, chopped in processor
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 large can mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/8 c. sherry

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Season meat and mix all ingredients together.

    Place in pot and cover.

    Bake 30 minutes at 350°, then change to 300°.

    Continue baking for two and one-half hours. Stirring is not necessary.

    Serve over rice.
