- 18 fresh small white onions
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. sherry
- snipped fresh parsley
Directions

1In saucepan, simmer whole, peeled onions in salted water until just tender.

2Drain and return to pan.

3Add butter, sugar, pepper and sherry.

4Cook, uncovered, 5 minutes.

5Sprinkle with parsley. Serves 6.
