  • 3 lb. stew beef, trimmed and cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
  • 3/4 c. sherry or Burgundy wine
  • Kitchen Bouquet (optional)
  • mushrooms (optional)

Directions

    Place uncooked meat in baking dish.

    Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meat.
  3. 3
    (Add Kitchen Bouquet if desired to color sauce.
  4. 4
    Add fresh or canned mushrooms, if desired.)

    Bake 3 hours in a 325° oven or longer.
  6. 6
    Serve over noodles or rice.
