  • 4 c. plain flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 box golden raisins
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. sherry
  • 1 qt. pecans
  • 8 oz. candied cherries
  • 8 oz. candied pineapple

    Dredge fruit and nuts with 1 cup flour.

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs one at a time.

    Beat thoroughly.

    Add flour and mix together.

    Add sherry.

    Fold in fruit and nuts.

    Put into greased and floured spring-form pan and bake at 250° for 2 hours.
